Is Dandruff contagious? NO! Dandruff is not infectious or contagious. You cannot catch this scalp condition or pass it along to someone else through person-to-person contact or even by sharing pillowcases. You can’t give dandruff to anyone, and you won’t catch the flakes from friends and loved ones who have it either.

Dandruff is a common scalp condition that results in flaky, dry, and itchy skin, and you may notice white, oily flakes throughout your scalp and hair. It can also spread to your hairline, eyebrows, and behind your ears.

There are Different Grades of Dandruff:
1. Seborrheic Dermatitis
2. Psoriasis
3. Contact Dermatitis

All the different grades of dandruff cannot be transmitted from persons to persons either by sharing combs, hair tools, pillows and many more.

TREATMENT OF DANDRUFF:
1. The treatment of dandruff starts from the inside to the outside. Clean up the inflamed gut from the acidity in the body.
2. Eat lots of veggies, and take lots of fruits.
3. Stick to using Hair care products with Anti dandruff properties like: Salicylic acid and more.
4. Exfoilate your scalp.
5. Those with Seborrheic Dermatitis should stay away from using hair oils.
